Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 31: The Mansion Hall at Radisson Blu Mumbai International Airport was abuzz with glamour and excitement as A New You Events successfully concluded the grand finale of Miss & Mrs Persona of India beauty pageant, Season 2. Held on the evening of April 21, the event showcased its contestants’ remarkable talents and resilience, while promoting a noble cause.

The two-day event, conceptualized and organised by founder and owner Debashree Chakroborty, featured grooming sessions and makeovers, preparing the contestants for their moment in the spotlight. The pageant commenced with a traditional blessing from Lord Ganesha, setting a spiritual tone for the festivities.

In an unprecedented move, the pageant focused on raising awareness to fight cancer. A highlight of the evening was the innovative “PowerWalk” segment, where cancer survivors took to the runway, demonstrating their strength and resilience. Eminent oncologists Dr. Shivam Singla and Dr. Sandeep Bipte delivered inspiring speeches, further emphasizing the event’s commitment to the cause.

The fashion runway was a spectacular display of elegance and style, with over 30 professional models participating. Shoppers Stop partnered as the fashion runway brand partner for the event. Lakme Academy Mumbai Andheri was responsible for the glamorous makeovers, ensuring all participants looked their best.

The evening was hosted by celebrity ace Simran Ahuja and choreographed by Mohit Kapoor. Chief celebrity guest Sara Khan, along with other notable personalities such as Vishal Kotian, Vindya Tiwari, Rashmi Gupta, Amit Tyagi of Aaj Tak (media partner), and Yogesh Lakhani of Bright Media (outdoor media partner), graced the event with their presence. Executive Director Anil Kala also significantly influenced the pageant’s success.

Dr. Ved Prakash Gupta was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to medical sciences. Muskaan Jain shone as the showstopper for the PowerWalk round, while Harkaran Singh, GM of Radisson Blu MIA, ensured impeccable hospitality throughout the event.

The esteemed jury, comprising Dr. Sagar Abhichandani (Prosthodontist, Dental Hub), actress Rashmi Gupta, and Sangeeta RoyChoudhury (Mrs. Asia India 2023), had the difficult task of selecting the winners from across India.  Ultimately, Divya Gujaria and Debolina Chakraborty were crowned as the champions of Miss & Mrs. Persona of India Season 2.
