Levitan, a renowned VFX veteran with over 30 years of experience, will start his office with BFS on October 24, 2023, and will be based in Los Angeles, working closely with the company’s Canadian subsidiary.
Levitan brings a wealth of expertise to BFS with decades of broad-spectrum production experience. He has managed all aspects of Visual Effects from Script Breakdown to Final Shot Delivery. His film and television credits include Ambulance, Hacks, Hail Caesar! The Hangover (Pt. 2 & 3), Reign of Fire, Station 19, Veronica Mars, Sneaky Pete, Unbreakable, etc. Over the course of his career, Dan has held key positions at many prominent companies, including Disney, Warner Bros, Paramount/CBS, Dream Works, FuseFX, Hammerhead, Cinesite, and Psyop, in addition to working directly with countless studio productions.
